When I stepped into Modo Yoga Vaudreuil for the first time, I didn't know such a grand adventure was waiting for me - the progressive and fascinating discovery of a world where silence invite relaxation, where words incite movement, where movements make it possible to open and excel, where teachers guide, support, motivate, and inspire each practice. It's only the beginning when the class is over, as we take with us into the world, the power of our breath, positive thoughts and an increasingly optimistic outlook. It's an ongoing journey of evolution and delight. With my whole heart I welcome new discoveries, challenges, questions and insights that are continuously revealing themselves through my practice. With love and gratitude, - Chantal xx Chantal completed her first practice March 18, 2018, and opens up to us generously by sharing her feelings, after a total of 183 practices.

Trees, like us, exist in communities; and like the very forests that sustain our planet, you also create thriving communities at your studios. Our goal this year is to celebrate community – both social and ecological – by highlighting our pillars of Live Green and Community Support and lending our collective weight to OUR 2018 Grow Your Yoga charity, Jungle Keepers.JOIN
Give yourself (or a loved one….. or yourself AND a loved one! ) the gift of a luxurious breathing session, an introspective meditation as well a gentle and therapeutic yin yoga class before the holiday frenzy. The practice of yin yoga uses gentle tension to relax your muscles. Because connective tissues respond better to a soft tension applied for a long period of time, Yin postures are held passively, at least for one song!
Everything slows down at the beginning of winter. It’s a time of energy conservation, awaiting the rebirth of a new spring. In Chinese medicine, winter is associated with the element of Water and the meridians of the kidney and bladder organs, which will be targeted during this proposed sequence.JOIN

Student will receive a confirmation email 24 hours prior to the workshop.
* Workshops in our temperate room (21 to 23 degrees)
* Workshops in French
This series of 3 workshops incorporates an initiation to the practice of meditation, diverse breathing techniques and relaxation, with the purpose of providing participants with tools to use to manage emotions and stress in their daily lives.
Meditation can be defined as a training for the mind, spirit or consciousness. The combination of breathing and relaxation makes meditation a powerful tool to become fully engaged in the present moment, to become one with yourself and, in turn, knowing and connecting with yourself even more deeply.
Chairs will be available for those who can’t sit on the floor.
